Etam UK was a British women's, retail clothing brand owned by the French firm Etam Development.
History
The brand included a subsidiary called Tammy which specialized in clothing for girls in their early teens. Etam's and Tammy had dedicated retail outlets and some joint retail locations as well. In 2005 the Etam and Tammy brands were purchased by the Arcadia Group; the parent company of BHS. In September, a revised Tammy line of clothing was introduced within many BHS stores. In 2010, Tammy brand clothing was also available in selected Arcadia locations. Some of the retail sites previously occupied by Etam/Tammy were retained by Arcadia and transferred to other Arcadia brands.
